(A) Bachelor Degree in Engineering I Bachelor Degree in Technology(Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology orElectronics and Communication or Electronics and telecommunication)from recognized University/Institution (Preferably IITs, NITs, or premierInternational Institutions) with fifteen years of relevant work experience inMinistries or Departments or Attached and Subordinate Offices of theCentral Government or Statutory Bodies or Autonomous Bodies or PublicSector Undertakings or Private Sectors.Desirable is MBA from UGCapproved university in any field.

(B) Master Degree in Engineering I Master Degree in Technology (ComputerScience or Computer Engineering or Information Technology orElectronics and Communication or Electronics and telecommunication)from recognized University/Institution (Preferably IITs, NITs, or premierInternational Institutions) with thirteen years of relevant workexperience in Ministries or Departments or Attached and SubordinateOffices of the Central Government or Statutory Bodies or AutonomousBodies or Public Sector Undertakings or Private Sectors.Desirable is MBAfrom UGC approved university in any field.
OR
(C) PhD in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics , EEE,E&I &Communications and other IT related research or Equivalentfrom recognized University/Institution (Preferably IITs, NITs, etc orpremier International Institutions) with Ten years of relevant workexperience in Ministries or Departments or Attached and Subordinate Offices of the Central Government or Statutory Bodies or Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings or Private Sectors; Desirable is MBA from UGC approved university in any field.
Essential & Relevant Experience Required
Possessing the period of experience as specified at (1) (a) to (c) above; andin any or combination of the following fields, namely: –
- Experience of overall implementation and operationalization of ITproject, management of related administrative and technical processes,installation and implementation of IT infrastructure, systems;
- Capacity to effectively co-ordinate and partner with different levelswithin central and State governments, maritime communities and variousstakeholders in port eco-system. Excellent communication, writing &presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in the field of Information Technology with emphasis on networking, Cyber Laws, e-Commerce, CyberSecurity and Cyber Forensics
- Good Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), DBA (DatabaseAdministrator), open source technologies (Oracle & MySQL/SQL),Unix/Linux Administration, B2G (Business to Government) solutions, etc.
Pay Scale
Rs. 1,60,000.00 – Rs 2,90,000.00
